Greetings Bulldogs!  I am honored to continue serving the Dixon High community this year as an assistant principal. 

I am a Charlotte native, but I have lived in Onslow County since 2010.  I love my home state of North Carolina  for the beaches, the mountains, and all the lakes in between. 

After graduating from UNC-Charlotte with a degree in English/Secondary Education, I spent 14 years teaching English and Language Arts to middle and high school students in the Charlotte area and here in Onslow County.  My final teaching post was at White Oak High School where I taught English for six years.  I earned my Master of School Administration from UNC-Wilmington in May of 2018, and  I have been working as an assistant principal ever since.
